A domain name is the URL that locates your web site on the Internet. For example, if your company is called Sarah’s Gift Baskets, you could use the domain name www.sarahsgiftbaskets.com as your web site’s domain name. The most commonly used domain names end in .com, .net, .org. Other domain names can end in .edu, .gov, and more.
