What is a domain MX record and how do I alter it?
A domain MX record directs the emails addressed to your domain to a mail server. They are held as part of your domain’s DNS record, and can be changed by all good DNS providers. To start using mailCustodian service your domain MX records must point to our servers: MX Preference 10 -> MX1.MAILCUSTODIAN.CO.UK MX Preference 20 -> MX2.MAILCUSTODIAN.CO.UK MX Preference 30 -> MX3.MAILCUSTODIAN.COM MX Preference 40 -> MX4.MAILCUSTODIAN.COM We recommend the above usage as many Spammers use the failsafe server as a means of bypassing the Spam catching services. The above settings help fool Spammers and improve reliability.
