What is a divining rod?

0

Divining rods have been used for centuries, usually to find water. A tree branch (usually white birch) would be broken off in the shape of a “Y” & the person doing the divining would hold it with the top section in their hands level to the ground. They would then walk back & forth until the single end pointed downward, this is where the water would be. Stories state that this is still done today with 100% accuracy. This practice is also done on a smaller scale in holistic healing sessions to find unhealthy areas of the body, but done so with copper rods.
