What is a disciple of Jesus Christ?
If you asked ten believers that question you would probably get ten similar but different answers. The one I like the best is a disciple is an adherent of Christ. A disciple is someone who adheres, who sticks to Jesus Christ. Someone who passionately seeks out Jesus and strives to live out His teachings. Mark 12:30-31, The Great Commandment, states, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.” Matthew 28:19, The Great Commission, states “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
