What is a Disciple Now?
Disciple Now is a life-changing event that churches often use to jumpstart their student ministries. Disciple Nows normally occur over a weekend (Friday-Sunday). Teenagers have small group Bible studies in church member’s homes led by leaders either outside of or within the church. Students will also participate in three (3) different corporate worship services and recreation or mission projects. Disciple Nows historically are for students who already have a relationship with Christ, however, the new trend in Disciple Nows is to have more evangelistic Bible studies without losing biblical depth thus encouraging non-Christians to attend Disciple Now as well.
