What is a digital video recorder (DVR) and how does it work?
DVR or personal video recorder (PRV) (as it is referred to in Europe) are popular in LCD TVs throughout Europe, however, they have been neglected by the majority of manufacturers for the Australian market. Kinecs, as part of its technology research, has identified much value and consumer utility in the DVR system, and as such, has integrated the DVR (PVR) File System in its LCD TVs. DVR or PVR is a device built in to the Kinecs LCD TVs that enables television programmes (ordinary video) to be recorded directly to a digital media storage device. Kinecs LCD TVs do not come with a built in hard drive (storage device), and as such, programmes cannot be recorded directly into the LCD TV.
