What is a diesel engine road vehicle?
From 1 June 2006, a diesel engine road vehicle is any vehicle with a diesel engine, other than a vehicle that is conditionally registered, or of a kind that would be eligible for conditional registration under the Transport Operations (Road Use Management) Act 1995. The definition of a diesel engine road vehicle prior to 1 June 2006 can be obtained through the Practice direction NFSS 9.2.
