What is a DHFMR FELLOWSHIP AWARD?
DHFMR Research Fellowship Awards are open to individuals with a MD, a PhD or a MD/PhD in health-related or biomedical sciences from the Middle East Region, who are working in the Region or considering returning to work in the Region. Research Fellowship Awards will be granted for a maximum of three years; award recipients will be expected to be located at Harvard Medical School for the entire funded period or for significant amounts of time during the funded period to work with senior researchers and mentors. . Successful candidates must demonstrate outstanding performance during their education and training, and will have exhibited promise as potential contributors in science relevant to human health. DHFMR will favor Letters of Intent that demonstrate an innovative and creative approach to medical, biomedical or translational research. Candidates for Fellowship Awards must be less than 40 years of age by the application deadline.
