What is a Developmental Preschool?
All school districts are required byfederal law to provide free educational and related services to children 3 to 21 years old with developmentaldelays or disabilities. The McCall-Donnelly School District staffs and maintains a preschool four days/week for eligible 3 to 5 year old children. This program offers individualized preschoolcurricula that focus on the developmental and functional needs of its students within a typical preschool environment. The district engages in an ongoing Child Find process to locate and identify children with disabilities in need of special education andrelated services.
