What is a Delivery Service Notification (DSN)?
This is a feature (supported by some mail servers) that lets you know if and when your email arrived in the mailbox of your recipient. It gives no indication whether or not a message will be opened or even downloaded-only whether or not it got delivered. The most basic example is a “bounced” email; if you have ever sent a message to an invalid email address, you have experienced a DSN.
