A. Previously known as a validation service, delegated centre status applies to institutions which are approved to offer specified awards and have developed quality assurance and supporting institutional systems to assure the standard of the award on an annual basis. A programme may be entirely designed, delivered and managed by a delegated centre although the University will retain ultimate authority for the award.
