What is a DC brushless motor? How does it work?

0

A brushless DC motor (BLDC) is a synchronous electric motor that consists of a three phase set of windings & laminations in the stator and a set of permanent magnets mounted on the rotor. As the electric field in the stator progresses the magnet poles “chase” the stator field causing the motor shaft to rotate. These motors are extremely robust and reliable.
