What is a database error and how to overcome it?
Unfortunately there is nothing you can do beyond emailing the site administrators. A database is a “storage facility” so to speak, it holds information, such as forum posts, user info, etc. If you are able to e-mail the site administrator with the following info you can help get the issue resolved as fast as possible: 1. Date, and Time of the Error 2. The EXACT URL you are trying to visit, this includes ?forumid=1&one=2&three=1 etc etc. 3. Anything you would have put into the forum, i.e. if this is just trying to log in, tell the admin where you are trying to log in from. You don’t need to provide your password for this, though. 4. The EXACT error, unless it only says “database error”, give the actual error. That can often be just as important. 5. View the source to the page, then copy & past the information into a txt file, send that along with your e-mail as an attachment, and let the administrator know what it is.
