What is a dance club?
A dance club is a social scene where people can get together and have a good time. There’s usually a DJ and a dance floor which makes it different from the bar scene. Dancing is highly encouraged and dance clubs will sometimes have themed dance nights like 80s, Madonna or Reggae. Depending on the dance club, the cover charge will vary. Sometimes it can be more difficult/more expensive for males to get in than females. Dress code varies for dance clubs; some venues are more strict than others so it’s best to check this out before going because you might not be able to get in if inappropriately dressed.
