What is a DAN DL7 compatible computer?

0

How do you know if it is compatible? First, its compatibility should be mentioned in the computer documentation. Second, you can check for ‘dive export’ in HELP and see if the program will create a DL7 or ZXU style file. The ability for a dive computer to create a DL7 is NOT mandatory. It is completely up to the manufacturer of the individual software. As of 2004 Uwatec was graded as a Level 1 provider, Sunto as a Level 2, with Cochran, Dive Rite and Delta P VR3 graded as Level 3. This means that the dive computer user must check their software to see if it is capable of producing a DAN DL7 file, either Level 1, 2 or 3. If it cannot produce a DL7 file the DAN DL7 ScubaLink cannot import the dive computer data.
