What is a Custom Sizing and who does it?
Sizing consists of our Licensed Licensed Electrician, Certified in KVAR Technology, clamping on live to your panel or motor to assess initial Power Factor and Amps. By adding and decreasing capacitance with our patented Optimization Sizing System, we will optimize your Power Factor as close to 99.9% (unity) as possible , while reducing your Amps; right in front of you, your engineers and electricians! This presentation is very impressive and impactful. Power Factors as high as the mid 90’s still can benefit from KVAR, although they have a lower monthly savings and longer return on investment. A custom sizing can take 45 minutes up to 3 hours or more, depending on the total amount of motors to be sized. There is no service interruption during sizing or installation of KVAR units.
