What is a Coupon Code vs. a Promotion Code?
A “Coupon Code” is a code used during the checkout process and must be entered into the “coupon code” box as you check out. A “Promotion Code” on the other hand, is a code that must be entered in a “promotion code” box. These are only found on a product page. A coupon code entered into a promotion code box will return an error. Likewise, a promotion code entered during checkout in the coupon code box will also return an error.
