What is a cost effective option for an individual to take a course in Autodesk Revit?

Employer ads show that they are looking to hire people already trained in Revit, even making it an exclusive requirement for the job. With the number of experienced and trained people looking for work now, employers would be crazy not to hire before paying to train. It looks like Autodesk has access to Revit training pretty locked up, and I wonder how badly they have been hurt by the recession (depression) in construction trades. Though seats are available, I have seen the cost of entry level Revit courses increase within the past 6 months. Either they are very busy or they trying to stay afloat by squeezing every drop of blood they can from a struggling industry while they can. Face it, they don’t have much competition. I hesitate to them short-sighted, but they sure aren’t doing much to increase the population of Revit users, either. M
