A continuity book club is a book club that sends you themed books each month that are selected by the book club rather than by you. Your introductory offer, for instance, will offer free or low-cost books from a specific genre, but you will not select the books. The book club will select them for you and send them directly to you. You will continue to receive a shipment of books (chosen for you by the book club) from the theme, genre, or series that you chose each month until you cancel. Continuity clubs are excellent for avid readers who love books of a particular genre or children/parents who want a new themed kid’s book each month. Harlequin Book Clubs, Highlights Book Clubs, and are continuity book clubs. Harlequin clubs feature romance books while Highlights and Scholastic clubs feature children’s books.
