What is a continuing contract?

0

A continuing contract is a permanent position with the school district. Your contract value is the percentage of time the district is obligated to give you work, which is what you post into or whatever value your last temporary contract was when you converted (end of the 10 months). If your last temporary contract is 1.0, then you are full time; if it is 0.4, then that is your contract.
