What is a Contact Lens Evaluation?

0

After the completion of your comprehensive eye examination, additional services are required to evaluate you for contact lenses. Additional measurements are made and lenses evaluated on your eyes to determine the best power, fit and performance of the lenses. For first-time contact lens wearers, we will then train you on the proper insertion, removal, and care of your contact lenses. Additional follow-up visits may be required to further analyze the lenses or to evaluate different lenses. Contact lens services and materials are not included in the comprehensive examination fee. Our staff will be happy to discuss the range of fees that apply to your level of service and the cost of the lenses that best meet your needs. Many insurance plans cover some, but not all, contact lens service and material fees. You will be responsible for any fees not covered by your insurance.
