What is a contact in Entourage/Outlook?
In Entourage, a contact list contains personal information about the people you have included in your Address Book. You will not have the variety of view options available in Outlook, but you can save and manage a wide variety of information about each contact including multiple phone numbers and e-mail addresses, birthdays, names of significant others, photos and an open notes field. In Outlook, a contact is like a business card – For any personal or professional contact, you can create a business card that includes the contact’s name, address, phone number, etc. Once you have added your contacts to Outlook, you can view them in a variety of different formats. In Outlook, click Contacts and then New to create a new contact.
