What is a Computer Systems Technician?
Computer Systems technicians specialize in supporting, troubleshooting, and repairing personal computers and peripherals such as printers, modems, scanners, etc. Armed with a tool kit and other equipment to measure a computer s pulse, an Computer Systems technician is the life line of a company s productivity as it relates to its computer “up” time. Right-Track s Computer Systems Technician program is designed to provide the student with hands on experience needed to configure, install, maintain, repair and upgrade microcomputers. The course also covers the “do s and don’ts of customer service to keep the technician from being too overbearing and allow the customer to be a part of the decision making process. Additionally, the course will prepare the student to pass a Computer Systems Technician certification examination.
