What is a Computer Assistant or CA?
A Computing Assistant, commonly referred to as a CA, is a student assistant working for the I.T. Department that will aid in ensuring that you have a network connection in your dorm room. They can check the installation of you network card, drivers for the card, system settings for connection and problems with the network jack itself. They are NOT authorized to help with the installation or troubleshooting of any software that is not related to connectivity. CA’s are students also and must work around their own class and homework schedule.
