The comprehensive statewide water management plan proposed by the Georgia Water Coalition would consist of river basin and groundwater management plans integrated into a cohesive statewide plan. The plan would manage state waters for the maximum benefit of citizens and local economies and would be created with input from residents of all parts of the state. It should also respect natural river basin and aquifer boundaries and the safe yield of Georgias waterways (for more on safe yield, see Question # 7).
