What is a Comprehensive Master Plan?
A city or county’s Comprehensive Master Plan or “CMP” is best described as a vision of what the city or county will look like over the next 20 to 50 years. The Comprehensive Master Plan is an ever-evolving document that establishes a common vision for what the city or county will look like in the future.
