What is a Competition Jazz Class?
With our program, they compete in at least 3 festivals, which allow them an opportunity to perform on stage. We usually start this at 8 years of age and they must begin taking a ballet class in conjunction with their jazz class. We enter all other groups, ages 6 and up, into The Alberta Dance Festival and everyone including the 3 and 5 year olds dance on stage for our year end recital.
