What is a community interpreter(CI) ?
A community interpreter is an agent that works with a service user to make his/her voice heard. The CI is mainly booked by a service provider organization in order to ensure access to the public service by someone who has the right to be assisted but can’t express themselves because they don’t share the same language or culture of the country where they are based.
