Each BabysitterExchange community has a “Community Captain.” This individual is responsible for community maintenance as well as approving each new community member. The Community Captain also has the authority to resolve transaction disputes and to create token adjustments. The Community Captain’s judgments are final. Community Captains may receive a stipend – or small monthly payment in tokens – for their work on behalf of the community. This stipend is listed in the “community settings” for each neighborhood.
