What is a Community Activist?
Nike Reuse-A-Shoe Community Activists are groups dedicated to bringing environmental awareness to their local communities by holding a shoe recycling drive. Some groups incorporate their shoe drive into a larger event, such as a local green week or 5k race, while others simply hold a drive with their class or school. If you’d like to be a Community Activist, you must: • Be located in the United States. • Live near a Nike retail location where you can bring all shoes. • Commit to collecting no more than 200 pairs of shoes. • Remove all non-recyclable shoes before dropping them off. In exchange, Nike will provide you with free Reuse-A-Shoe bins and marketing materials. Apply to become a Reuse-A-Shoe Community Activist now.
