What is a Commonwealth Assistance Form?
All students who receive any support from the Commonwealth are required to complete a Commonwealth Assistance Form at the time of enrolment. The Commonwealth Assistance Form replaces the HECS Payment Options Declaration Form and Postgraduate Education Loans Scheme (PELS) loan request form. This is a requirement under the Higher Education Support Act 2003, which ccame into effect on 1 January 2005.
