What is a Christian Zionist?
It surely means that he is a Christian who is supportive of Jewish people having a permanent homeland in Israel. Support of a Jewish homeland centered on Jerusalem is Zionism. He may call himself a Christian Zionist to distinguish himself from being a Jewish Zionist. It may mean that he is a supporter of the particular view that the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948 is the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy. This is a common dispensationalist belief (and is held by some non-dispensationalists).
