What is a child lock in a Microwave Oven?
Some microwave ovens have digital controls. If a child presses some button by mistake it can switch the unit on. To prevent this a child lock can be used. The lock can be engaged by pressing two keys on the digital pad. Once this is engaged then all the other keys will not function till the lock is disengaged. This will prevent the oven from being operated by children accidentally.
