What is a check swipe?

0

A check swipe is when the merchant or the company checks the validity & limit on your card by swiping the card. This is test swipe. At the Time of final billing, a second swipe is done to debit the actual bill amount. One must ensure that all such ‘Test swipes’, like the first, are cancelled. This is done by the merchant by swiping again and cancels the previous Swipe. Kindly ensure this is done. If you fail to do this, the said funds will be blocked from your Card A/c for upto 21 days. Use only to settle final bill.
