What is a cheap but good home school online that is avaliable in Australia?
The only distance education (online & correspondence) schools here are the ones run by the Christian schools (see below); and then only if you live in NSW, WA or Qld. There’s nothing whatsoever if you live in SA, NT, Vic, ACT or Tassy. Sorry. To be homeschooled in SA, NT, Vic, ACT or Tassy, you’re only option is to homeschool ‘properly’ i.e. as defined by the law* and that means you have to be taught by your parent (or parent substitute) or by a state licensed teacher who is directly employed by your parent. ( * doing online school is not homeschooling under Aussie law; it is distance education. If you were to join an online school, Aussie law would see you as a private school student who just happened to do school at home rather than a ‘true’ homeschooler.)
