What is a charity guaranteed place?
A guaranteed place means that you have completed a Team Macmillan guaranteed place application form and you were notified by Macmillan by phone that your application was successful. Then you would have received a fundraising pack with a covering letter stating ‘Congratulations and welcome to Team Macmillan we are delighted to confirm your guaranteed place with us.’ In regards to sponsorship, we ask you to pledge to raise a minimum of £250 in sponsorship for Macmillan (for 2011 runners due in by 15 June 2011) and pay a registration fee of £36.
