A charge letter is a request by OJA or RD for a student to meet with them regarding their involvement in an incident, on or off-campus. In the letter, the student is informed of the policies they are alleged to have violated. A copy of the incident report(s) is also included so that students can better understand the basis of the charges.

A charge letter is a written notice that a student is alleged to have violated the Community Standards. The letter will indicate the date, time and place that a student must attend a formal discipline hearing. It will be served at least 48 hours prior to the hearing.
