What is a Chamber of Commerce?
A Chamber of Commerce is the guardian of the community’s economy. A chamber is the community’s business advocate. The events and activities of the Chamber are determined by the needs and desires of member businesses and the community. The Mansfield Area Chamber is an voluntary organization of over 700 businesses and business professionals who have united together to work toward expanding their business and achieving personal success. Specifically, the Mansfield Area Chamber’s purpose is to: • Increase business growth and the development of jobs within the Greater Mansfield Area; • Work toward the orderly growth and development of the community and its people; • Build and sustain a vibrant economy and a superior quality of life in our community.
