What is a cervical cup?
A cervical cup is a polyethylene insemination cup which is anatomically shaped to fit the cervix and maintain sperm in close proximity to the cervical os and canal. The uniqueness of this cup as compared with other cervical cap products in the market today is that it comes with a stem that allows the placement of the cup into the vaginal cavity first and then introducing the semen via the stem. Other products allow only the placement of the cup vaginally after the semen is placed in the cervical cap. This is not a very efficient way and could jeopardize the loss of the semen specimen from the cap during its placement into the vagina. The Zavos Home Conception Pak⢠is more efficient and practical to use.
