A Certificate of Existence, also known as a Certificate of Good Standing, is a certificate that states that an entity is in good standing with the Secretary of States Office, and has, to the best of the Secretary of States knowledge, filed all required tax returns with the Department of Revenue. A Certificate of Existence (Certificate of Good Standing) may be requested using a Business Filing Document Request Form with a $10 filing fee.
