What is a CE Review?
To ensure the integrity of the POST continuing education (CE) system, the POST Board will review the CE records of a small number of randomly chosen officers. The officers selected will receive a notice in the mail informing them they have been selected for a CE Review. Officers will be asked to submit documentation of the continuing education courses they have successfully completed up to 48 credits. The online CE lookup, which has not been updated since September 1, 2005, can be printed and used as acceptable documentation for courses taken. Beyond that date, retain course completion certificates for courses successfully completed. POST will only ask for course documentation adding up to 48 hours of continuing education credit (or less for recent hires).
