What is a Category in fnCentral?
Categories are ‘classification’ of your account information. Identifying and setting up income/expense based on categories help you to generate reports that give you a picture of where your money is being spent. Also during tax time, this is formatted into an easy to prepare tax form. Example categories include “Rent”, “Education”, “Automobile”, “Medical”, etc. You can also create your own categories in fnCentral.
