What is a CARB EO sticker?
Automotive parts and accessories that modify anything related to emissions cannot legally be used in a vehicle operating on public roads or highways in California unless they have undergone the California Air Resources Board (CARB) engineering evaluation and approved. Parts or modifications that are approved have been tested and they do not increase vehicle emissions. This approval is granted for a specific vehicle or group of vehicles and that information is published in a CARB Executive Order, or CARB EO. California has some of the toughest emission standards in the US and if a part or modification is CARB approved it will be emissions legal in all 50 States. All Jackson Racing street legal supercharger systems have been granted a CARB EO number. Every street legal system we ship comes with a sticker that has the CARB EO number, and that sticker should be affixed to the underside of the hood.
