What is a callback URL and what it it for?
A callback URL is an advanced feature of shifd designed for developers, but anyone can use it. Each time we receive some shifd content from you (a note, place or link) our server will submit a post request to a URL of your choosing with the content. This is useful because now you can use your shifd content in other web applications in real time. For example, if you put http://myblog.com/shifd/callback.php into the callback URL form on your user profile. We’ll post the content to that url in real time. This works with content created via the web, the desktop application, the mobile website and SMS.
