C.P.C. stands for Certified Personnel Consultant. Only expert placement firms will insist that their Personnel Consultants earn their C.P.C. designation as soon as they qualify. They must have a minimum of two years experience in a private placement firm, subscribe to the National Association of Personnel Consultants Code of Ethics, and be prepared to pass an extensive examination administered by a sanctioned testing association on employment agency law and personnel consulting practices.
