What is a Business Account Client Authorization Agreement (BACAA)?
The Business Account Client Authorization Agreement (BACAA) is the legal agreement between the Company and Chase regarding the account(s). It must be completed to open a Chase Business Banking bank account. It provides the legal authorization by the Company for Company representatives to open accounts and services, and generally transact business with Chase on behalf of the Company. It includes such items as a W-9 for tax withholding, designations of authorized representatives and their signatures, security procedures for access to the accounts and a certification by the Company that appropriate resolutions have authorized all actions contemplated by the BACAA.
