A bus monitor is a grade 5 or 6 student that helps the little kids on and off the bus in the morning and afternoons. They also help make sure that everyone is seated and behaving during the bus ride. The bus monitors also help on the kindergarden bus runs at lunch time. There are usually 2 bus monitors on each bus, one at the front who supervises the loading and unloading of the bus, and one at the back who supervises seating order and safety during the bus ride.
