What is a Burda sewing pattern?
It’s a large sheet of paper on which all the sewing patterns are printed for all the relevant standard German (Burda) sizes. You can either immediately cut out these pattern pieces in your size, or trace them onto another sheet of paper (and keep the original for later re-use). Each sewing pattern package consists of the pattern sheet(s), sewing instructions and style illustration(s), always in several different sizes and often with various alternatives. Our sewing patterns are graded according to the level of sewing skill required, so you can immediately recognize whether they are designed for beginners, intermediate or experienced home dressmakers. Our helpful technical drawings and step-by-step instructions will assist you in the making of your garment(s).
