What is a buffer underrun error?
This is an error that occurs when the data transfer from the PC cannot keep up with the speed of writing to the disc. The data is stored in a buffer (an area of main memory set aside for temporary storage) before it is written to the disc. This error means the buffer becomes empty causing interruption in the writing. Usually this is due to the lack of power of the CPU.
