For the purposes of EPA’s Brownfields grant program, a “Brownfields Site” is: “…real property, the expansion, redevelopment, or reuse of which may be complicated by the presence or potential presence of a hazardous substance, pollutant, or contaminant.” In order to be eligible for Brownfields grant funding, the site(s) covered by your application must meet the definition of a Brownfield site.
